Your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, voluntary, and confidential service
that is fully paid for by your employer and is accessible for you as well as any of your
immediate family members.

Can I only use the EAP for work-related issues?

The EAP is a confidential service where you are able to discuss whatever is on your mind. Some of the topics people discuss include:
 • Work-related issues (e.g. relationships, workplace tensions, adjusting to change and managing conflict)
 • Communication skills
 • Emotional stress, anxiety, conflict and depression
 • Parenting support and family issues
 • Health and lifestyle issues (including drugs, alcohol and gambling)
 • Grief and bereavement
 • Separation, divorce or relationship difficulties
 • Life cycle transitions and adjustments
 • Personal trauma
 • Specialised referrals e.g. financial and legal support
